We are a family of three from Central Virginia.  My husband and daughter are my world, and we always have a ton of fun together on vacations.  We have one SPCA rescue kitty named Callie - she's 4 years old, with pretty jet black fur.  We have two German Shepherds - Sara (10), and Harley Quinn (6).  Sara is the crazy one, and Harley is my sweet pea. 

 

We recently moved from the country, back into the 'burbs to be closer to family.  We miss seeing the stars at night, the random deer grazing in our yard, and the overall peace and quiet.  That said, we can't deny the creature comforts that come with being back "in town".

 

We've always been big travelers, but generally speaking we get to our destinations by plane or cruise ship.  We have explored a lot of the East coast, but have barely touched the surface of exploring the West.  We only have a few weeks of vacation time per year, but we're hoping to schedule a few long weekend trips through the year to take advantage of our new land yacht.  As we visit different places, we'll be sure to include you on our journey via the blog.
